Our Priests for Tomorrow

Your generosity to the Priest Training Fund supports the priestly formation of men who have answered the call to Priesthood to serve the people of God.

There will be a second collection at Mass (22nd April 2018) to support this cause.  Collection envelopes will be available at the back of the church.

Collecting for the Food Bank

Collecting for the Food Bank

In collaboration with Churches Together/Broxbourne Food Bank, we have begun to collect food in the Parish.

A large box has been placed to the right of the altar for you to place your donations which will then be taken to the local food bank. Sadly there is an increasing need for us to support those less advantaged than us. As you may know donations should be tinned or dried foods with a good shelf life.

Mary’s Meals Collecting your unwanted clothes

Mary’s Meals Collecting your unwanted clothes

Mary’s Meals wants your unwanted clothing and bedding (no duvets or pillows please) and will be at our church until 11am on Sunday 4th March to collect them all. Put your clothing/bedding into tied sacks and bring them to church where the charity Mary’s Meals will be here to pick them up.
Amazingly 4 full black sacks of good quality clothing will feed a child one good nutritious meal every school day for a whole year! Mary’s Meals is a charity that sets up school feeding programmes in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

Love in Action takes off this weekend – Collecting for the Food Bank

In collaboration with Churches Together/Broxbourne Food bank, we will begin today to collect food in the Parish. A large box will be placed to the right of the altar for you to place your donations which will then be taken to the local food bank. Sadly there is an increasing need for us to support those less advantaged than us. As you may know donations should be tinned or dried foods with a good shelf life. At present they also urgently need:

  • Tinned fruit (400gms)
  • Boxes/packs of Tea bags
  • Dried pasta (500gms)
  • UHT milk (1 litre)
